The 28-year-old gave birth to her daughter in October and returned to the WTA tour in April. She becomes only the third wildcard to reach a women's singles Wimbledon semis in the Open era.
Donald Trump
personDepartment of Justice said it can no longer conclude Trump was acting in his capacity as president when he made allegedly defamatory statements about Carroll. A jury awarded E. Jean Carroll $5 million after concluding that Trump sexually abused her in 1996. Trump sued Carroll on June 27, objecting to a CNN interview following the May 9 verdict.
