personMasoud Pezeshkian secured 53.7 percent of the votes, or 16.3m, according to the official count. Saeed Jalili received 44.3 percent, or 13.5m, the Interior Ministry said. The first round of voting June 28 saw the lowest turnout in the history of the Islamic Republic since 1979.

organizationReform UK won four parliamentary seats in Thursday's general election. Leader Nigel Farage was elected on his eighth attempt by standing in Clacton-on-Sea. Lee Anderson became the party's first MP of the night with victory in Ashfield.
The Conservative Party
organizationOutgoing Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has conceded the election. Labour has won 65 percent of the vote, but only 34 percent of seats in the House of Commons. Conservative Party has won 24 percent of votes, but 121 seats, a huge difference. Turnout was 43.17%.
The Labour Party
