Connor Sturgeon

Connor Sturgeon, 25, entered the Old National Bank in Louisville, Kentucky, and opened fire with an AR-15-style rifle. Four victims died on the scene, before a fifth died in hospital later on Monday. Another eight victims were hospitalised including two police officers who were shot by the gunman after responding to the scene. Sturgeon reportedly left a suicide note for his parents and posted memes announcing the imminent attack.

Elizabeth Holmes

US District Judge Edward Davila concluded there wasn't compelling enough evidence to allow Holmes to remain free on bail. Holmes, 39, will have to surrender to authorities on April 27 to start the more than 11-year prison sentence. Unless she can find a way to stay free, Holmes will be separated from her two children.
