He was arrested on Sunday after an alleged abortive bid to shoot the Republican presidential nominee at the Trump International golf course in West Palm Beach. Routh was armed with an AK-47-style rifle and was 300-500 yards away from Trump when members of the former president's Secret Service detail spotted him.
