Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest after a routine hit on Bengals receiver Tee Higgins in the second quarter. NFL suspended the game for around an hour before the decision was made to abandon the match altogether. Hamlin remains in a critical condition at University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center.

Amber McLaughlin
personAmber McLaughlin, 49, was convicted of first-degree murder and rape for the 2003 killing of Beverly Guenther. McLaughlin will be the first openly transgender person to be executed in the US. Her last-minute clemency request was rejected by Missouri Governor Mike Parson.
NFL
organizationDamar Hamlin, 24, suffered a cardiac arrest in the first quarter of Monday night’s game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals. Hamlin was transferred to the UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment. He is currently sedated and listed in critical condition. NFL announced on Tuesday that the Bills vs. Bengals matchup will not be rescheduled for this week.

organizationArsenal held to 0-0 draw by third-placed Newcastle at The Emirates. Gunners denied a late penalty appeal when the ball appeared to strike the arm of Jacob Murphy with just seconds of stoppage time remaining. Mikel Arteta felt Arsenal should have been awarded two penalties as they pushed for a winner. Gary Neville disagreed with Arteta's strong statement and said it would in fact have been ‘scandalous’ had the late handball resulted in a penalty.
Damar Hamlin
personBuffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin is in critical condition after taking a hit to the chest during Monday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hamlin collided with Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins while making a tackle in the first quarter. ESPN analyst Bart Scott said Higgins "lowered his helmet" before "throwing his body into [Hamlin's] chest"
