Logan Mwangi was found dead in the River Ogmore in Bridgend, Wales. His mother Angharad Williamson, 31, and her partner John Cole, 40, have both been sentenced to life in prison for Logan's murder. A 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, will serve a minimum of 15 years after also being found guilty of murder.

R&B star R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison Wednesday. He was convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking last year. The sentence caps a slow-motion fall for Kelly, who sold millions of albums. A jury found Kelly guilty in September of sex trafficking charges. He still faces a trial in Chicago on charges of child pornography.

Former 90s star, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, has been branded a ‘predator’ He was convicted on multiple counts of racketeering, with the charges relating to bribery and forced labour. Judge Ann M. Donnelly handed down Kelly's sentence in Brooklyn Federal Court on Wednesday, despite the defense lawyers' request for a sentence of 10 years or less. He's still facing child pornography and obstruction of justice charges in Chicago, where a trial is scheduled to begin Aug 15.
