'The death was not justified or excused… by self defense,' said Kent County prosecutor Christopher Becker of the second-degree murder element.

LIV Series is offering super-sized prize money totalling $255 million for eight events of which five are in North America. Tournament is being bankrolled to the tune of £1.6bn by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund.

personCooper Kupp has agreed to a three-year extension with the Los Angeles Rams. The deal is worth $110 million, and includes $75 million in guaranteed money. Kupp led the NFL during the regular season with 145 receptions for 1,947 yards.

Charging documents said the man called police to say he was suicidal and came to kill Kavanaugh. The man was said to be upset about a leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court that would overturn the landmark decision in Roe v. Wade.

organizationThe Walton-Penner family, led by Walmart heir Rob Walton, will acquire the Broncos from the Pat Bowlen Trust. Walton's proposed ownership team also includes his daughter, Carrie, and her husband, Greg Penner. The purchase now needs approval from the NFL's finance committee and league ownership.

personNicholas John Roske, 26, of Simi Valley, California, was carrying a gun, ammunition, a knife, pepper spray, a screwdriver, zip ties, and other gear when he was arrested. He faces charges of attempting to kidnap, murder or threaten a federal judge. Roske told police he was motivated by his opposition to Kavanaugh's position on abortion and the Second Amendment.

They are seeking more than $1 billion in damages for the bureau's mishandling of its investigation. FBI agents in 2015 knew that Larry Nassar was accused of molesting gymnasts. They failed to act, leaving him free to continue to target young women and girls.
