Andrew Fahie, 51, was arrested at a Miami airport along with the managing director of the British overseas territory's Ports Authority. Fahie allegedly met with an informant pretending to be part of a drug cartel. He agreed a $700,000 (£560,000) payment to allow traffickers to use BVI ports.

Trevor Bauer

Bauer, 31, was due to earn $32 million this year and in 2023 as part of a three-year, $102 million deal. A San Diego woman alleged that Bauer beat and sexually abused her last year. Bauer sued his accuser in federal court.

Boris Becker

Boris Becker jailed for two years and six months after being convicted of concealing assets following his bankruptcy. Former tennis star hid £2.5million worth of assets to avoid paying debts. He transferred around £390,000 from his business account to others, including those of his ex-wife Barbara Becker and estranged wife Sharlely 'Lilly' Becker.

Guillem Balague has heaped praise on Liverpool following their 2-0 victory over Villareal. An own goal and a Sadio Mane strike earned the Reds the win. The result puts Liverpool on course for their third European Cup final in five seasons. Jurgen Klopp has extended his Liverpool contract until 2026.

Moderna has asked the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to authorize its COVID vaccine for the youngest kids. Currently, the Moderna jab is only authorized for adults. The move paves the way for the nation's youngest demographic to be offered protection.

Jason Sudeikis 'had no idea' his ex-fiancee Olivia Wilde was being served with custody papers while she was on-stage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The 38-year-old actress was mid-way through a presentation about her upcoming thriller Don't Worry Darling when she was served with the papers. CinemaCon said they are now reevaluating their security procedures, in light of the incident.

Snap is introducing a new in-app destination called "Dress Up" It will feature AR fashion and virtual try-on experiences. Snap is also launching tools that will allow retailers to integrate with Snapchat's AR shopping technology.

Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has signed a two-year extension to his Liverpool contract. Assistant managers Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz have also signed extended deals. Klopp's current deal runs out in 2024, meaning he has two seasons left to run.

Bill Hwang

Archegos founder Bill Hwang charged with securities fraud and market manipulation. The family-owned hedge fund run by Hwang had taken huge bets on a few stocks. When several of those bets turned sour, the fund was unable to meet "margin calls" to cover the losses.

Trevor Reed

Trevor Reed, a 30-year-old from Texas, was jailed in Russia in 2020. He was exchanged for Konstantin Yaroshenko, 53, who had been serving a 20-year US prison sentence. Yaroshenko was arrested in Liberia in 2010 for drug trafficking, then transferred to the United States.

York strips Britain's Prince Andrew of the freedom of the city. Local councilors voted en masse to rescind the honor bestowed on Andrew in 1987. Decision will not automatically strip the Queen's youngest son of his 'Duke of York' title.

Seven women have accused hip hop DJ Tim Westwood of sexual misconduct. The 64-year-old is accused of unwanted sexual behaviour and touching. His appearances at two nightclubs in Birmingham and Bognor Regis have been cancelled. Westwood has vehemently denied all the allegations.

Gazprom confirms it has halted gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria. European gas prices have risen by as much as 24% following Gazprom's statement. Move raises concerns that Moscow could use energy supplies as blackmail.

Manchester City beat Real Madrid 4-3 in their Champions League semi-final second leg at the Etihad Stadium. Pervis Estupinan and Sadio Mane scored the goals for Jurgen Klopp's side. Manchester City are only the third team to win three consecutive Champions League matches against Real Madrid, after Bayern Munich (four in a row) and Juventus (three, 2005-08)
