The predominantly white jury – only one person of color was seated – was finalized this week. Defense removed 11 of the 12 Black prospective jurors and judge let them get away with it.

The Cleveland Browns announced Friday morning that they are releasing wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. If no one claims the balance of his $14.5 million on waivers, Beckham becomes a free agent. The waiver claiming period would end on Monday at 1 p.m. Only nine teams have enough cap space at the moment to sign Beckham at his current deal.

New York starting quarterback Mike White injured his right forearm in the first quarter. Cleo Smith, 4, was found alive and well in a locked house in Carnarvon, Western Australia. She had been missing from her parents' tent at Blowholes campsite, 74km away, on October 16. A 36-year-old man - who was not in the home when it was raided - has been arrested in connection with Cleo's abduction. Police were tipped off to the address after neighbours spotted the suspect buying nappies.
