Detectives used crowbars and battering rams to kick in the door and free Cleo about 12.46am Wednesday. A 36-year-old man has been taken into custody in relation to the disappearance. Neighbours described the man in custody as an 'oddball'

Cleo Smith, 4, was found alive and well in a locked house in Carnarvon, Western Australia. She had been missing from her parents' tent at Blowholes campsite, 74km away, on October 16. A 36-year-old man - who was not in the home when it was raided - has been arrested in connection with Cleo's abduction. Police were tipped off to the address after neighbours spotted the suspect buying nappies.
