A bombshell report claims he phoned his counterpart there over concerns then-President Trump would take rogue action to stay in office. The first phone call reportedly took place days before the November election, and the second happened shortly after the Capitol riot. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., sent President Joe Biden a letter Tuesday urging him to fire Milley.

The FBI has fired an agent who is accused of failing to launch a proper investigation into former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar. The agent, Michael Langeman, lost his job last week. Langeman was a supervisory special agent in the FBI's Indianapolis office and had interviewed star gymnast McKayla Maroney in 2015. The hearing is examining how the FBI mishandled its investigation into the Nassar allegations. While the federal investigation languished, Nassar abused scores of victims.

Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles says the FBI and gymnastics officials turned a “blind eye’ to Larry Nassar’s sexual abuse of her and hundreds of other women. Biles and another athlete, Aly Raisman, appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee along with FBI Director Christopher Wray.

Gabby Petito, 22, was reported missing on September 11 after she failed to return from a road trip. Her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, 23, returned home to North Port, Florida, on Sept. 1 and has since lawyered up and refused to talk to cops. Petito was last seen in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming on July 2. Her fiancé drove her van back to Florida without her, hired a lawyer and has not publicly explained why.
