Lisa Montgomery, 52, was pronounced dead at 1.31am EST on Wednesday at the Federal Correctional Complex in Terre Haute, Indiana. Montgomery, who is from Kansas, killed expectant mother Bobbie Jo Stinnett in Missouri in 2004 before cutting the baby from her womb. Doctors say Montgomery is brain-damaged and mentally ill. She has alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that puts her at high risk for COVID-19.
