Jarryd Hayne
personAustralian rugby league international Jarryd Hayne sentenced to five years and nine months in jail. The 33-year-old was found guilty of two counts of sexual intercourse without consent in March. The incident happened on the night of the 2018 NRL Grand Final, when Hayne was in Newcastle. A violent brawl also erupted as a group of friends and family attempted to shield Hayne's wife as she walked out of the court.
Facebook asked its Oversight Board to review its decision to indefinitely ban Donald Trump. Board told Facebook to take six months and get its own rules straight, and then make the Trump restoration decision itself. The 45th president was indefinitely suspended from both Facebook and Twitter in January following the US Capitol riot.
