Floyd, 46, died on May 25, 2020 after Chauvin held his knee against Floyd's neck or upper body for nine minutes and 29 seconds. Chauvin now faces a maximum of 40 years in prison.

Chauvin's bail was immediately revoked, meaning he will spend his time in prison.
