He was charged with one count of receipt of child pornography and one charge of possession of child porn. He will face trial for 'downloading child sex abuse material in 2019,' marking the first time he has been charged with a crime despite formerly confessing to molesting his siblings.

personTrevor Lawrence is the fourth quarterback drafted by the Jaguars in the first round in its 27 years of existence. Jacksonville has five of the top 65 picks, including the 25th pick later in the opening round. The 21-year-old Lawrence finished as runner-up in voting for the Heisman Trophy awarded to college football's most outstanding player.

Jones led the Crimson Tide to a National Championship victory last year after throwing for 4,500 yards, 41 touchdowns and only four interceptions. He becomes the first quarterback selected in the first round during Bill Belichick’s 21-year tenure in New England.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will select first overall and are all but guaranteed to take Aaron Rodgers. The 2021 NFL Draft begins with Round 1 on Thursday, April 29 and runs until Saturday, May 1.

This marks just the fourth time in the common draft era that San Francisco took a quarterback in the first round.
