Michael McCorkle "Mac" Jones is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). A native of Jacksonville, Florida, he played college football at Alabama, where he set the NCAA season records for passer rating and completion percentage as a junior en route to winning the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship. Selected by the Patriots in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Jones led the team to a playoff berth during his rookie season and earned Pro Bowl honors, as well as being the runner up to Offensive Rookie of the Year, behind Ja'Marr Chase.
