Munira Mirza is a British political advisor who served as Director of the Number 10 Policy Unit under Prime Minister Boris Johnson from 2019 until she resigned on 3 February 2022, citing Johnson's claim that Labour leader Keir Starmer was responsible for the failure to prosecute the serial sex offender Jimmy Savile as a reason for her resignation. She previously worked under Johnson as Deputy Mayor for Education and Culture when he was Mayor of London.
